Well, the trip starts tomorrow.  We will travel by car across America to the east coast and back to Salem.  I plan to keep up my base training for walking across Spain on the Camino de Santiago in the fall by stopping to walk for an hour or so every day across America.

So today, I practiced at one of my favorite places:  Minto Brown Island Park in Salem.

Nice day.  Not very crowded.  I love this park!
